The International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) hosted a Youth Circle event titled “Sustainable Agrifood Systems under Climate Change” today in collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCaE) and the Federal Youth Authority of the UAE.

Since 2001 the center has conducted different experiments in the UAE to determine the long-term effect of saline water irrigation on date palm growth, productivity, fruit quality, and the impact of salinity on the soil.
