ICBA works to develop individual and institutional capacities in different countries worldwide. This work forms an integral part of knowledge and technology transfer. The center offers wide-ranging capacity development opportunities, including fellowships and internships, short- and mid-term training programs, and farmer field schools.
ICBA also provides technical training programs to stakeholders ranging from farmers to extension specialists to scientists to decision-makers. These programs are designed to equip stakeholders with various skills, tools, and resources.
The center pays special attention to developing the capacities of young people and women through tailor-made programs like the ICBA Youth Engagement Society and the Arab Women Leaders in Agriculture. Many educational programs specifically targeting young people are also organized by the Emirates Soil Museum.
