The changes seen in a region of Italy in the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) between 2019 and 2020 in the same time period. NDVI is an index used to estimate the health and productivity of vegetation. The red shows areas where the vegetative productivity has decreased; blue areas where vegetative productivity has increased, and the maroon where it is roughly the same. The changes show the differences in the farmed areas between the two years.
